Reversible Ties with Magnets for Windy Days and Food Spillages

Let’s face it; we have all bought a regrettable tie at one point in our lives. Whether it had a picture of a cartoon character on it, was designed to look like a giant lobster or simply was made up of awful colours it is easy to fall in to the trap of buying something you never use more than once.

Ah, but that is the least of your worries, isn’t it? Quite apart from the elegance (or not) of said neckwear you also have to try and tie the blooming thing in a reasonable looking knot and then avoid it flapping around wildly once you get out onto the windy streets . This is a lot harder than it looks but thankfully the answer is at hand.

Winds Won’t Bother You Now

That answer is a magnetie and we believe that the clue is in the name. You see, a magnetie uses rare earth magnets to keep the bit at the front and the bit at the back together. No matter how much of a gale is blowing the two parts will stay together as if, well, as if by magic we suppose.

Even more exciting is the news that they are reversible, so you get two ties for the price of one. Now you don’t need to worry about spilling food on it during your lunch hour, as a quick switch around you will be looking smart and professional again. There is no news yet as to whether you can get one with Goofy on one side and a giant salmon or dinosaur on the other side.
