The portable Logitech Tablet Speaker is also an iPad stand

Logitech, makers of a number of popular PC speakers, has now moved to the tablet stage with its Logitech Tablet Speaker.

Since the company’s entry into the tablet market, making accessories for a wide range of devices, it now unveils the Tablet Speaker system that works great for Apple’s iPad and other tablets. The speaker was designed to be clipped-on the tablet. Users can easily connect it to their tablet’s 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Logitech Tablet Speaker is highly portable, and its compact design can be an important feature for those people on the go. The device eliminates the hassle of carrying a tablet along with additional speakers as it comes with a rubberized clip that enables it to securely mount onto tablets. This allows users to carry it wherever they go.

Aside from being just a speaker, the device can also be used as a display stand, giving your tablet device a slight incline for better typing, gaming and navigation through the web. It can also provide users a better view of the tablet’s screen if their watching movies. Having a barrel-shaped form factor, the Logitech Tablet Speaker has two speakers on both sides.

Logitech’s tablet speaker system can provide users with 8 hours of battery life. It can be charged via USB.

The Logitech Tablet Speaker is currently available for pre-orders and is scheduled to ship in September. It will come with its own carrying case and will have a price tag of £36.
