Urbanears, an acclaimed Scandanavian fashion and lifestyle headphones brand, has unveiled its new line of headphones for Autumn Winter 2011. Headphones has become not only an tool for listening to music, it has also become lifestyle accessories.

The new collection delivers new colors: mustard, indigo and raspberry. These are designed to infuse autumnal tones into the headphones. The new range of colors are available in the Medis (patended in-ear design), Tanto (80s Walkman style), Bagis (traditional in-ear earphones) and Plattan (chunky over the ear).

Mustard, the sauce that is commonly used in hotdogs, comes in various tastes and shades. Urbanears chose the European variety of mustard for its color, not the brighter yellow that is commonly found in North America. The pinkish raspberry color has a bit of blue and purple shades in it, while indigo reminds us of a pair of barely worn jeans.

The Urbanears Autumn Winter 2011 earphones collection was inspired by the colors usually seen on catwalks. The range include seven other colors, including Team, Tomato, Orange, Mocca, Dark Grey, Black and White.

Founded in 2009, the Stockholm-based design collective, Urbanears, has built a reputation for giving style conscious headphones that focus on high-quality construction, sound and design. Urbanears fuse technology and fashion to deliver a “part garment, part headphone” that incorporates design features with unique colors, textures and fabrics alongside an enriched sound performance.

Each Urbanears earphone features a remote control and mic, enabling users to control music and answer phone calls at a touch of a button. The Plattan line of headphones features a “Zound Plug,” that enables the user to share music with a friend.
