Urinal Gadgets that make Peeing Fun

Some gadgets are ingenious, some are just taking the pee and some seem to do both. After reading about a thermal communal urinal on Geeky Gadgets we just had to look for other gadgets that make peeing fun and more hygienic.

Thermal Urinal Fly

The first thing we came across was this decal which sticks on the urinal to display a fly, when you do your number ones on the decal the fly fades away to show you have done a good job. Who thought of this concept? The Japanese of course, they are available to buy for $10 per pair. Research by May Berenbaum suggests that blokes like to pee on things, she said “there is a deep-seated instinct to aim at targets,” when coupled with the fly target reduces “human spillage.” Nice!

Sega Toylets

This clever play on words lets men set high scores whilst going to the toilet, placed above the urinal the device records your accuracy and volume of your stream. Thankfully this is all done hands free. It’s probably best if you watched the YouTube video, don’t worry its PG.

Thermochromic Urinal

This communal trough type urinal, as featured on Geeky Gadgets, is perhaps the cleverest and most disgusting use of urinal gadgetry. The steel is coated in a ‘thermochromic’ layer which changes under different temperatures. This tech gives a whole new meaning to the saying ‘pi’$ artist’ and sure looks like a lot of creative fun.
