What Does it Come With?
The box comes with the speaker, a 3.5 mm stereo headphone / audio jack connecting cable and a USB connector, which is needed for charging purposes.
What Does it Look Like?
The WOWee One scores highly on the looks front, or at least it will with anyone who values a sleek, compact look in their gadgets. It is small enough to be able to hide it out of view when you use it if you wish, but it is also good enough looking to make leaving it in full view a decent option. This little speaker measures up at 4.7 x 2.4 x 1 inches and weighs in at just 7 ounces. Basically its slightly bigger than a iPhone 3GS making it very portable.
How Does it Work?
Like most of the really good gadgets around nowadays it is an incredibly simple idea which has been well designed and thought out. It just has to be connected to a music device and then laid on any sort of surface. The tiny speaker then belies its size and weight by pumping out an incredible sound, with great bass and a full range of frequencies. This thing works on walls, windows, tables – literally anything flat can be turned into a speaker. We found that hollow surfaces produced more base than denser items such as an oak living room table but the sound was impressive on whatever we used.

The WoWee one works with any 3.5mm jack, this lets you hook up your WOWee One Portable Speaker to your mp3, mp4, iPod, iPhone, mobile phone, PC and a whole lot of other devices.
What About the Battery?
A fully charged unit will give you 20 hours of playback time, which should be enough for most trips or parties. You then need to recharge it through the USB connection. An orange LED indicator shows the current charging status.

Don't be fooled by the hype and other reviews. I bought one, plugged it in and stuck it to several surfaces.
It sounds like a cheap am radio when not stuck to a surface. It sounds like a slightly better cheap am radio when you stick it to a surface.
Don't buy this product if you're hoping for anything better than what comes out of your iPod, MP3 or Blackberry speaker.
I have a totally different opinion to Tom, it does sound like a cheap radio when not stuck to anything, that I can agree with, that’s because it has no bass. As long as you clean the gel on the back once in a while with just a damp cloth it’ll stick to most surfaces and sound awesome, I’ve had mine stuck to the double glazed window in my kitchen for the last week and it sounds amazing. At first I was unhappy with it because it vibrated off all surfaces even flat horizontal ones but as soon as I started wiping off the gel pad once in a while it’s been amazing.
