Move over iOS 4.2, Apple iTunes to reveal something you will never forget

We have been talking a lot about the impending release of iOS 4.2 over the past couple of days with 86% of the people we surveyed yesterday saying they would upgrade as soon as it was ready. Well it seems there is something more exciting on the way from the recently updated iTunes.

iTunes 10.1 is literally fresh out of the box and it seems Apple has something big planned for 3pm GMT tomorrow. A surprise graphic on the iTunes homepage has tongues wagging all over the internet. The graphic showed the release times for California, New York, London and Tokyo and said “check back here tomorrow for an exciting announcement from iTunes”.

We doubt very much that Apple has something completely shocking up their sleeve as let’s face it someone would have leaked it, nevertheless the awaited announcement sure is an exciting little tease.

We predict that this could point to either an official date for iOS 4.2, the introduction of a Mac App Store, Ping integration with Facebook, the revelation that Steve Jobs is actually and alien or that a iTunes cloud-based service will be launched (we don’t actually think Mr. Jobs is an alien but who knows).

What do you think Apple will announce?

I'm pretty sure it's going to be the Mac App Store, iOS 4.2 update and possibly something to do with an App Store for the Apple TV or something along those lines.

A part of it could also have something to do with them carrying NBC Universal content. Who knows really?
