Angry Birds Goes Irish with St. Patrick’s Day Level Pack

Angry Birds seasons is set to receive another update in preparation for St. Patricks Day, Rovio has released a YouTube video showcasing the different levels which are adorned by all things green and stereotypically Irish.

The leprechaun styled pigs will sport a range of Irish attire including some protective head gear. This is similar to the Halloween version but instead of pumpkin hats they will be of the stovepipe variety. Each of the levels will come with the standard stone, ice and wooded obstacles with the addition of shamrocks (Aka 4 leaf clovers) and pots O’Gold.

Rovio has even taken the trouble to Irish up the jingle a little with fiddles, whistles and general cheer – we love it.

The update will be rolled out at some point over the next week in readiness for St. Paddy’s day on the 17th March. It will be free to current owners of the season edition of the game or the standard price – it’s like having four games for the price of one now with Halloween, Christmas, Valentines and St. Patrick’s Day level packs.
