Just like they did with their first Galaxy S last year, Korean tech giant Samsung will be launching a white version of the powerful Galaxy S II smartphone.
U.K. mobile retailer MobileFun posted an image of the white version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. According to them, the device will be released n August 15th in the U.K., and it appears that the popular smartphone will also be launched in other parts of Europe at the same time. Consumers can only buy it at full retail price, having a price tag between £410 and £500. It appears that this version’s only difference from the black version is the color, with no changes in its specs.
According to reports, the white version of the Galaxy S II will be available on August 15th, with Techradar saying that it can be bought from online retailer Clove.
The white Galaxy S II will feature the same 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display that has become the smartphone’s key feature, and a super powerful 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Google’s Android 2.3 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy S II also features a rear facing 8-megapixel camera and is capable of recording 1080p resolution videos at 30 frames per second. A 2-megapixel front camera is also installed for video calling.
